Life as a Dancer


Every week I have to prep my pointe shoes, like fixing the ribbons and elastics or breaking. Then I have to stretch. Lastly I have to use thera bands to strengthen my foot arch. I think its important to stay focus because later in life people end up injuring themselves for long periods of time

Being a Dancer

Being a dancer (from my experience), you're very hard on your body. I was just recently injured and I kept dancing... I think if I had been less determined to keep to my dance routine, My injury would be healed and I would already be back to dancing. Since I was four I have been doing ballet and I have improved my habits, routines, and overall how I dance.

Dance, Acro, and Gymnastics

I know a lot of people who are dancers, acrobats, and gymnasts. Most of the people I know all have a different definition of dance, acrobatics, and gymnastics. What dance is to me is the art of showing a story through body language. Acrobatics for me is balance of your body... for example a form of acrobatics is tight rope. Gymnastics is a sport of flexibility, balance, and control.
